Do we offer Day Slips?
Boat slips with electricity – $15/night. No minimum stays required. Yes, to book a day slip you can call the Marine Center at 409-584-2624.
What time is check in and check out?
Check out is 10:00 am / Check-in time is 1:00 pm for all camp sites. Two night minium rental is required on the weekends. Two night minimum on major holidays.
Are pets allowed in the cabins?
We are now pet friendly!

Can people fish from the docks?
All Slipholders at the marina or guest staying with us in one of our cabins can fish from the docks.
Is there a boat ramp at the marina?
Yes, we do have a boat ramp on site. If you need assistance loading/unloading your boat, please call the Marine Center at 409-584-2624.

Staying at Powell Marina:

What are the deposit fees?
There is a $20.00 key deposit when you check in. This is refunded when you check out and the key is returned. One night deposit is required to hold reservations. A two night deposit is required on any group reservations. There is no refund of deposit for a group reservation if canceled.
There is a 6% sales tax on cabins only, no tax on RV sites or marina slip rentals.
We must receive deposit five days after reservations are made. We require a 14 day notice of cancellations. We charge a 1 night deposit of stays 3 nights or less, and 2 nights deposit over 3 days.
There is a $10.00 cancellation fee per unit (campsite or cabin) for cancellations made earlier than 14 days prior to reservation date. Cancellations made within 14 days of reservation will be charged for all nights reserved unless we can find another renter, but still will charge the initial 1 night deposit for reservation of 3 nights or less and 2 night deposit for reservation over 3 days stay.
If you reserve more than one cabin or campsite, your deposit is non refundable, and we still require at least a 14 day notice of cancellation, or you are responsible for every day reserved.
We do not give cancellations for weather related issues.
